MARCH 2010 - OWNER DRIVERS REQUIRED
Sub-Contractor / Owner Drivers - Urgently required
For dedicated daily delivery and collection work in the West Midlands area, covering the B, CV & WS Postcodes.
If you can fulfil the following;
- Provide an 18-tonne curtainsided vehicle no older than 10 years.
- Provide a tailift and pump truck.
- Provide a plain white cab.
- Have a good understanding of Multi-Drop deliveries and are willing to work hard.
We will offer the following;
- Weekly payments direct into your bank.
- Expected weekly earnings between £1000 and £1500 (dependant on driver).
- Shared Livery costings.
- Subsidised on-site parking.

JANUARY 2010 - NVQ LEVEL 4 MANAGEMENT
I am pleased to announce that Carol, Lisa and Raj have all started their coursework to achieve the NVQ level 4 in Management.
They will have a fair amount of homework to do over the next 12 months or so, but at least it will keep them out of the pub!

DEC 2009 - SIGNATURE CAPTURE UPDATE
In the summer of 2009 Palletline went live with 'Signature Capture' across the network and this is proving to be an instant success with customers. For all customers that use our 'Web Despatch' they can now see live signatures of delivery details within five minutes of the delivery being made. In addition, they can also 'track and trace' their consignments right the way through the network without the need to call the local depot.

JULY 2009 - PALLET VOLUME DISCOUNT SCHEME BRANDED A HUGE SUCCESS BY CUSTOMERS!
HAVE YOU REGISTERED YET?
In April we announced the introduction of the PVDS and invited customers to register for the scheme. Quite simply, once registered, you will receive a report showing your monthly average and target figure (20% above average) for the following month. If you achieve your target you will receive a 5% discount on sales for the month.
So far, 80% of customers who joined have achieved their target for May, with a further 40% achieving the required amount for June and they are all now benefiting from a 5% discount on sales.

Ever been on the M6 or M54 and seen this guy in your rear view mirror? You won’t be alone!
Meet Tex, a DAF XF with a very real personality – and an important part of the Palletline Logistics fleet!
He’s one of the Truckitt Family - an engaging team of cartoon characters modelled around real, road going vehicles, designed to appeal to youngsters aged between 4 and 8.
There’s a serious side to these fun-loving characters, too. Originally designed to promote a real understanding of the vital role the road transport industry plays in today’s commercial world, the Truckitts have a message to get across to kids around the country. “Whatever it may be – from food products through to toys and games – a truck played an important part in getting it to you.”
Tex is a workhorse too – he’s out on the roads every day for Palletline Logistics, completing three round trips between our Birmingham and Telford bases, typically carrying goods including lawn mowers and lawn tractors and wood burning stoves.

OCTOBER 2008 - NVQ PASSES ALL ROUND!
Congratulations to Raj, Lisa and Carol on all passing their NVQ level 3 in Management. They have all shown an interest in level 4 so watch this space for further developments.
